So Happy!

Hi Guys! I have finally found some time to create. Yay!! To get my mojo going I went to where else but ... Mojo Monday for their sketch of the week! This sketch was so fun to work with and came together pretty quick. Saying it usually takes me 2 1/2 - 3 hours a card. LOL I know I work slow. But I enjoy listening to my music and taking my time. Right now I have gone back to listening to some old John Mayer. Anyway... this card allowed me to use some of my newest supplies. Isn't shopping the best? I went a little over board on some SU products. That's so easy to do during the sale~a~bration. I am going to host my first stamp club this April. Hopefully I'll get a lot more free product. Whooo Hooo

On this card above I have used one of my favorite combinations which is Verve stamps with SU paper and extras. Thank you for sticking with me during my down time in between posts. I appreciate all of your comments and views. ~:0)

Hi!! I hope you are having a great weekend. My son started his spring break and we are looking forward to having lots of fun in the coming week.. and ... sleeping in! It's been a busy week. The reception went very well and I am glad it's over. We only had a few mishaps like the power to the coffee pots being turned off. Heehee But all went well. My client loved the design and layout I presented on Friday for a project I am working on. They didn't change a thing. Which means I have time to play this weekend. Yippee!!

This birthday card was made using my new papers from SU. I love this shade of pink. Perfect for a new baby or little girl. Infact I have a friend who is due any day. But we wont know if it's pink or blue until then. I wish I had better markers with more colors to match the paper better. I'm not real happy with how the coloring turned out on this. Gosh has it been awhile since a new post or what? Goodness me it has been crazy around here. I just went back to work full time as an interior designer. I had to prepare a design to present this Friday. I am happy to say it is done and was handed in at 12:05 this morning (or night should I say). My boss loves it which is a great feeling. And Friday should go well. Did I mention I am also chairing a reception at school tomorrow? It's for 800 people!! Yikes. Ok so now you know why I haven't been posting.

But ... I have been creating. *giggle* I went to my stamp club Monday night where we made this thank you card. It's a very simple and sweet layout. It was fun to work with the new border punch by SU. And I love the new stamp set polka dots which is also on this card as the flower. I actually ordered it from the sale~a~bration catalog that night. Which means it's free! Whooo Hooo. Gotta love a sale!

The vase and flower silouette have such an elegant look that I decided to pair it with one of my fave color combos... pink & black. This is for a friend of mine. We swap cards each month. Happy Saturday! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! In between cleaning and having a buddy sleep over I was able to fit this card in. I used the Mojo Monday sketch. Heehee a little behind but hey ... I got it in right? It was so much fun to color with my water color crayons today. Thanks for letting me share!

Whaaaa Whooooo!! I am so pleased to announce that I am one of 13 new DT Members over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge! I was just informed today that I made the team and almost fell out of my chair. *giggle* What an honor to be working along side such talented ladies. I am so excited to begin this new adventure and will do my best to provide inspiring pieces or work each week. So mark your calendars as our first challenge starts in April.

Hi Happy Monday! I'm not even on my second cup of coffee and I feel wide awake today. Which is funny saying I was up all night with my son who is sick. I wanted to share this card with you this morning. It was made using the CPS sketch this week and my new Verve stamps. I must say the sketch was a litte tricky. This one took me awhile to come up with a design. But here it is! I'm pleased with how it turned out. Oh, and I know I've been using the same color scheme for a few cards now. But I just love this chocolate chip w/ the baja breeze. I'll move on to something else soon ... I promise. Maybe my favorite color pink! ~:0) As always I so appreciate you stopping by to take a look.
