Happy Anniversary!

This card was made using the CPS sketch from a few weeks ago. I made it and never got the change to upload it. *oops* As you can see I am still playing with my new SU SAB stamps and paper. Plus my new swiss dots CB folder. I have been wanting swiss dots for ages and finally broke down and bought it online. I was tired of waiting for it to come in the store. This card is for my sister's 15 anniversary this week.

For my MIL

Hello! I was able to stay up late last night and make this card because I have today off! Whooo Hooo I recently got a package full of stuff that I ordered from MFT and I've been waiting patiently to get my hands on it all. How fun it is to play with new supplies! The colors and patterns in this MFT Summer Paper Pack are just incredible. I know it's not summer yet but I just couldn't resist the fun colors and patterns in this pack. Infact we are only just seeing the first glimpse of spring here in the Chicagoland area. Today it is supposed to get up to 70 with plenty of sunshine. I hope the weather is nice where you are at too. Ok so onto the card...

This card was made for my MIL for Mothers Day. I am so excited to share this card with you because it has so much new product for me. This is the first time I have ever used an MFT stamp as well as MFT paper. And I have to say ... bravo! This stuff is excellent quality. And so fun to work with. I really like how the scallops at the bottom came out. It was a last minute decision to use black as an accent. And I am so glad I did.

Scraptacular Sunday Challenge #3

I hope you're having a good day on this Sunday morning. Being Sunday that means it's time once again for the Scraptacular Sunday Challenge! This weeks challenge is a color challenge. These are always my favorite kind of challenge. The colors are black, white, and 1 other color of your choice. And that's it. Here is the card I came up with for this challenge. Spring is here! We are forcasted to have 67 and 70 degree weather here over the next few days. Whooo Hooo!! I am really enjoying these new sale~ a~bration papers from SU. I was doing so much brown before I got these. And they just brighten up my studio every time I use the paper. Also I am doing much simpler cards lately. Taking up only an hour to make start to finish rather than the normal 3 - 3 1/2. There's something refreshing about that! hehehehe Anyway here are two of my spring cards. Miss you a Latte'

Good morning! Thanks for poping in to see me. I have a new creation to show you. It's a coffee inspired card. I've never used this stamp before and it came in handy for this card. I am giving this to my sister. We have both started working recently. We used to both be SAHM's and I miss our mornings of chatting over a few cups of coffee. And I just wanted to tell her that. What better way to say it with a coffe inspired card, right?

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge

Good morning and Happy Easter! I hope the bunny was good to all of you. We woke to a lovely morning filled with all kinds of baked goods, juice, and coffee. Yummmm Today we will be celebrating the holiday with my family at my sisters house. There will be an egg hunt, chickie races, awesome food, and lots of love to go around. I can't wait for the festivities to begin!

Today is also Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #2. Which is “This is for the Birds!” You must include at least one bird on your project. Well... just say bird and a picture of Verve's bird stamps come to my mind. I absolutely LOVE these stamps. They are so fun to work with. Birthday cards are always in demand so I used Verve's Birthday Birdies stamp. And built the card around it. I hope I was able to be of some inspiration for this wonderful challenge.

TECC Sketch Challenge

Happy Easter

I made these bag toppers today for my niece & nephews Easter gifts. They were super fun to make. It would have been great to fill them with cutesy candy that matched, but I stuck to their favorites. Which they will love. I can't wait to give it to them!

Our Easter plans are to spend it with family. I am fortunate enough to have most of my family members from both sides close by. So we are all getting together to celebrate with great food, egg hunt, chickie races, and the ones we love most. Should be a perfect day! ~:0)

Easter

This Easter greeting is a little late and I hope it arrives at my in laws in time. This card I made for my son to give his Grandma & Grandpa for Easter. I finally got my swiss dots folder. Whoo Hoo I have been wanting it ... forever. And I couldn't wait to use it on something ... anything... just give me those dots! The ribbon is new as is the border punch. The little rabbit I cut out using my cricut and the new arrival cart. I do not own 1 Easter stamp. So I thought this little rabbit would do the trick.

This is a perfect opportunity to wish all of you a blessed Easter. I hope you are able to spend it with those you love most.

My sisters Anniversary is this month. And there is a color challenge over at SB.com. Combine the two and whola' here's the card I made. The challenge colors were black, green, and pink. Don't they look great together? I just love color challenges!

How's your week going so far? Mine is so so busy at work that for the past 2 nights I have stayed up for a little "me" time and made cards. It's really helped ease the stress.

Mojo Monday

Have you seen the Mojo Monday sketch this week? It's such a fun design that I just had to use my new SU hostess papers that are so bright and cheery. Looking at the pink color it screams birthday to me. So that's how this card came together. It's not as detailed as my regular cards. But it was nice to finish in 1 1/2 hours rather than 3. LOL

Paper Baby Shoes

As soon as I was told the theme for this week was new beginnings, I immediately thought about a pattern I had seen awhile back on how to make these adorable paper baby shoes. Wouldn't they be the cutest table decoration for a baby shower? Or attached to your gift? Just by changing the paper and little embellishments you can change the entire look of each shoe. And they are so easy and fun to make too!

Happy 13th Birthday!

Hi and happy Saturday! I needed a quick gift today for my friends daughter. Today is her 13th birthday and we are celebrating by staying in a hotel tonight just all the girls. I am going to keep her mom, my friend, company in our room. While the girls celebrate in theirs with pizza, movies, games, and swimming of course! I adore altering these little candy tins. They make the perfect gift card holder. And don't take long to put together. Paired with a sweet card and whola' the perfect gift. I wonder if I am going to get any sleep tonight! LOL

Hello! The weekend is almost here... Yippee! Tomorrow is jeans day at work and I am washing a load right now so I can wear my favorite pair. I'd love to wear a sweatshirt with them but that's probably a little too comfortable! LOL Well here is another card by me. I have been wanting to use this stamp set from Verve since I got it about a month ago. I worked off of a sketch given to me by a friend. And that is who I am giving the card to. Isn't that star stamp adorbale? If you have yet to own a set of Verve stamps you are missing out! They are fabulous and among my favorites as you all know! LOL I wish I could buy them all.
