Let The Summer Begin Blog Hop!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!!

It's a wedding theme this week over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. Create any project with a wedding theme and join us for some great prizes. Be sure your project has some kind of stamping on it. Pretty easy right?!!
It just so happens my MIL asked me to make her a wedding card for an upcoming wedding they are attending in June. It fit perfectly for this weeks challenge. My MIL wanted the card to have the brides color and well as their names. It made another great opportunity for me to pull out my Just Rite Stamper. I used it to create a monogram with the last initial, their names and wedding date too! To add a special touch I also embossed the envelope flap.
Thanks for taking a peek. And I hope you'll join us this week!
Paper= CS (DCWV white, black, and fushia)
Stamps= Just Rite Stamper

For this sketch I decided to make a birthday card. There are 5 birthdays this month in my family. So getting one done was a blessing. 4 more to go! *giggle* The only part of making cards that I don't like is the postage. The things we girls go through to get our cards in the hands of a loved one... phew! You see me use this image from Verve a lot for birthdays. But I ask you is there anything cuter? I am in luv with it. I finally got the ticket punch from SU and decided to give it some much needed attention. I love how it turned out with the little pearls and all. Take it easy today and thanks for stopping in to see me.
Paper= DP (MM 6x6 pad) CS (SU bashful blue, real red)
Stamp= Verve
Ink= Stazon
Ribbon= SU real red
Extras= Pearls, clear button, twine, water colors, paper piercer, dimentionals, nestabilities

Baby Boy Tin

Oh what a fun project this was! I LUV making these tins for friends and family. This one is for a good friend of mine. She just had a baby boy named Jake. I think she's going to love it. Or I *hope* she does. This tin is to keep the entire 1st year of memories. For each month there is a decorated card for a picture and another decorated card to jot down things we Moms don't want to forget. It makes the best shower gift. I gave a baby girl one away and it was the hit of the shower. It was passed around to everyone! I now sell them. It took me 2 weeks to make this one only due to my work schedule. When I am not working it takes me a week. So what do ya think?
Materials: The entire K&Co Baby Boy line (3Ds, paper, stickers, ribbon, die cuts, buttons) SU(hostess SAB paper, real red CS, bashful blue CS&DSP, certainly celery CS&DSP, so saffron CS&DSP, bashful blue ribbon, certainly celery ribbon, twine, Stamps (MFT, SU) Nestabilities, dimentionals.
Thanks for letting me share my project. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #5

Hello and good morning. I hope you are having a great weekend. I must apologize for not posting much lately. Work is demanding all of my craft time. I am even working on the weekends. So that doesn't leave a lot of time to stamp. It's killing me that I recently got my SU order in and have yet to really "play" with it all. I seem to be buying more paper and ink lately. Did I tell all of you that I hosted an SU workshop and had a total order over $700.00! Wowzers that's a lot of free stuff. I had $95.00 of free merchandise not too mention 3 hostess stamp sets. And for every $150.00 sold I got to select any stamp from the $10.00 and under page. Whoo Hoo!! I love Stampin Up!
On to the card...
"Mother's Day" is the theme for the challenge this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. This week it's a tribute to all mothers! So grab those stamps and some paper and show us your creativity. Please stop by the DT blogs to view their stunning samples for this weeks challenge.
