Both of these cards were made from 2 card kits my friend Amy sent me. She always sends the best and most fun supplies to work with. Card kits for some are easy... but they are very challenging for me. I never think I do justice to the kit that was sent. ??? LOL But I keep signing up for them. Ha! I think it's b/c I love to put the kits together myself and then wait to see what they do with it. Not too mention fun mail is the best kind to get in return.

"Party Animal" is this weeks theme for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. Let yourself go with this one and get a little crazy! Your project must include at least 1 animal. The DT has created the cutest darn stuff. You have to go check them out. Their blog links are in my sidebar.
This little froggie was given to me by a friend. As well as the paper, button, and flower. It was all part of a scrapbook kit that she so sweetly sent to me. As you can see I used it to make this card instead. I have been waiting patiently for just the right project to use it all. I wish I could list where everything came from but it was all a gift. I can tell you the Believe in Fairytales stamp is from Verve.
I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge this week!
Thanks for stopping by...

Yay!! I was able to get in one of my favorite challenges this week. CPS's sketches always challenge me to the extreme. They are always very hard for me to work out ... and I LOVE it when I finally finish one. Some CPS sketches have been my best work. This week the sketch has a lot of open space. And no definite spot to put a sentiment. At least that's how it appeared to me. Well at any rate here is what I came up with. Thanks again CPS for the challenge!!

Stamp = Verve

Hi ... TGIF! Well, I have finally found my groove again as far as finding time to craft. I always have to get used to a new schedule when it's summer vacation and the kids are home. I just craft at night now. LOL This card was super fun to make with all of these colors that I normally would not put together. But I sure like how it turned out! I didn't make this for anyone in particular... just always in need of b~day cards.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello and good morning. Today is the long awaited day that the movie Transformers comes out. Any boy who is between the age of 6 - 10 has been waiting for this movie to make it's debut. So guess where we are going today? *giggle* You got it... to the movie theater to see Transformers on the IMAX screen. Woe... how cool is that? Heehee With the heat we have been having a nice cool movie theater sounds nice!
Anyway... the card above was made with using this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. I took a few liberties with it to fit my stamps. I turned the small square to make a triangle on the side and moved my bow. This is the first time I have used these papers by SU. Aren't they so delicate and girlie? I luv um'.
Thanks for popping in and checking out my stuff.

Red, White, Blue and a STAR too is the theme this Sunday at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. Create something using only the colors red, white and blue…and at least one star. The DT have cooked up some super inspiration this week. Be sure to check out their blogs. The links are in my side bar for your convenience. Have fun and good luck with winning the fantastic prize this week!
Our night out for our anniversary was awesome. We had such a good time. It's been awhile since we have been able to eat dinner and have a whole conversation without interruptions. *giggle* It was great fun!
My card for the challenge this week is an old Mojo Monday sketch. I have used the sketch more than once and always like how it turns out. It's also nice to use this sketch when you have multiple papers you want to use.
Whelp, I am off to make my hubby breakfast in bed. And we plan to spend the day anyway he chooses. Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful Dads out there.

My hubby and I are celebrating our 12 wedding anniversary this weekend. I can remember my wedding like it was yesterday. It was the perfect wedding, the perfect day, and I married the perfect guy! And it's going to be so fun to dress up tonight and go out to a fancy dinner to celebrate. Do you have any traditions you do for your anniversary? We do. I kept the 3 candles from our ceremony. You know the ones 2 on each side of the big one and you light it together and then blow out the 2 little ones representing 2 lives becoming one. Ok... sappy I know but I kept my candles and we re light them each year as we toast each other with a glass of champaigne. My Mom is having our son spend the night and we plan to sleep in tomorrow and then go out to breakfast. I can't wait. I am going to do my nails and iron my outfit this afternoon. Reservations are at 6:30!
This is the anniversary card I made my hubby. The sentiment is hard to see in this pic. It says "so happy together". It's not easy making an anniversary card for a guy is it? That's why I started with brown. And here is what I ended up with. I hope he likes it.
Paper = DP (SU Parisian Breeze) CS ( SU Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze)
Stamps = Verve
Extras = SU (brads, ribbon, twine) Fiskars border punch
Thanks for taking a look.

Hey guys! Happy Thursday. I hope your weather has been better than mine. We have had rain all week long. Blah! Good time to get some card making done though.
This card was made at my stamp club Monday night. It is my demonstrators design and materials. It's the first time I have dry embossed and the first time I have used glitter on a card. I have found that both are not for me. I guess I just don't have the patience for either. I do like the effect though.
All the materials are SU. But I do not know exactly what they are. I believe the DP is retired. *sorry*

It's my sisters birthday! We are celebrating tonight with all of the girls in the family. We are going out for a nice dinner and drinks. I have been looking forward to this all week long. A girls night out is just what I need. Not too mention this place we are going for dinner has fabulous food and they make the best pomegranate martini's! Whoo Hoo!
My sister is always the life of the party and so much fun to be around that I went with some bright, vibrant paper by SU for her card. There is a gift certificate inside too. I hope she likes it.

Summer is peeking out around here... slowly. We were able to swim twice this week at least. We've been having lots of rain and very cool days. We are hoping the sunshine is right around the corner though. My son is in little league so we've been going to lots of games. Not much time to craft anymore with my little guy home all day. It's play, play, play!!! But you can always expect a creation from me every Sunday.
Todays theme for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is Fathers Day "A tribute to all fathers". So, if you have yet to make that Dads Day card now is a perfect time to do so! You'll get your card done and be able to enter our challenge all in one shot. The fabulous prize this week is sponsored by our very own design team member Line. You wont want to miss the inspiration the DT has put together this week either. So be sure to check out their creations. My two cards this week are for my Dad and FIL. I recently got this paper from SU just for my Fathers Day cards. Isn't it so maculine? I LOVE it!
As always thank you for stopping by!

Happy Sunday! Time for another round of Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. This week the theme for our challenge is "One for the boys". Please create your project with this theme in mind and remember... it must include some sort of stamping on it. The design team really kicked it up a notch this week with some wonderful inspiration. Please visit their blogs for some great ideas: Joanne joey Janneke Carly Nikki Donna Liza Paula Dee Line Priscilla Jilly
This layout was inspired by the fact that my DH is going to be on vacation soon and he would like for us to all go camping. I cringed at remembering I still had yet to scrap last years camping pictures. heehee So today's theme was the perfect opportunity to get on it!
Thanks for dropping by today and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
All paper and embellies are from K&Co.
