Boo to You!

Oh my gosh were these fun!! I have been wanting to make this shape of card for months now. The only bad part was these papers by K&Co. are loaded with glitter. I now have glitter all over my studio. It's in my cutter, adhesive... all over! But I sure had a good time making the mess.

I have a very limited supply of Halloween stamps. They are pretty simple. But the budget these days does not call for new stamps. So I made do.

I hope you have a fabulous September and a great day!

Halloween Jars

Hi! Happy September. It sure does feel like fall here in the mid west. Temps are in the 60's. As long as there's sunshine I'm a happy camper. Each year I make these cute jars for Halloween. I fill them with candy and goodies and then pass them out to my nieces and nephews.

The hardest part is getting the paper to wrap around in a perfect line. But with a little practice it's do-able. So the next time you make spaghetti think about saving those jars!

Paper = K&Co.

Christmas Memory Tin

Hey guys! I've been busy making this Christmas tin. It's a keepsake tin for 24 years of family Christmas pictures. Can you imagine watching your family grow over 24 years in one little box? It's a family treasure that's for sure! I picture the recipient taking a family photo each year in front of the Christmas tree. Making room for new family members throughout the years. It was a little hard to get in the Christmas spirit so I turned on the Christmas music to help!

This is the inside cover of the tin. I love that sentiment by SU.

And of course all 24 index cards with a photo holder.

I should be back to making cards soon. There have been so many projects on the board that had to come first. These tins take me forever!! LOL Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies: Too many to list. Mostly SU.

Happy Birthday! You definitely don't look like you're going to be 40! I'm coming up on 30 in a few months, and it's a rough one! Like the poster before me said, I think 40 is when you're really able to come into your own and focus on yourself.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for posting a comment to make me feel better. Some made me re~think this whole thing called 40, while others made me laugh!! It's time for another Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge this week is "Beary Special". Your project can be for any occasion but must contain a BEAR somewhere. Happy Haunting

Hey guys! I hope you are having a fabulous day! I want to share with you this card I made last night for an online crop. The challenge was to use an owl somewhere on our project. I just happened to have this little glittery fella in my Halloween stash and knew he was the one. This is the first time I have used my graphically speaking cart. It was used with my cricut to cut out this awesome tree. How fun! I absolutely LOVE Halloween and believe it to be the best holiday of all! When else can you eat an entire bag of chocolate and not get "the look".

Once I got my tree cut and owl positioned the rest came together pretty easy. Because of the black cardstock used for the card I needed to decorate the inside as well. You can't send a card w/o some writing in it.

I have been busy creating other Halloween projects. They will make their debut soon. So stay tuned.

Paper = DP(K&Co.) CS (SU Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie)
Die cuts = K&Co. Graphically Speaking cart.
Extras = Ribbon, Buttons from my stash

3-2-1 Challenge!

Wanna know what I've been up to? Making this baby girl tin filled with 24 decorated index cards is what. Phew! I've been working on it every spare second I have had lately. That's why I haven't posted any new projects. It was like I was making 24 cards!! LOL Anyway... this baby tin is exactly like my baby boy tin I posted a couple weeks ago. The purpose of this adorable tin is to track babies first year through monthly pictures and journaling.

One of the index cards is for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge this week. The challenge is a 3-2-1 challenge. You must use 3 brads, 2 different pattern papers, and 1 flower. The first picture shows my challenge card. Hope you have fun trying this recipe challenge yourself this week. There is a great prize being offered to one lucky winner. So go check it all out here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Childs Play

Hi!! It's that time again for another Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge we have for you today is themed "Child's Play". Which means your project must be something for a child and have some sort of stamping on it.

I decided to make this number book. I came across the idea a long time ago and saved it way back in my noggin to pull out sometime. It's easy to make but very time consuming. The tag shape was made using my Cricut and the Base Camp cartridge. I knew I wanted more than one DP on each tag but it is such a small space to work on. So I ended up cutting all of my DP into 3 sizes. Top, Middle, and Bottom of the tag. Then I could pick and choose which ones I wanted to go together. I also used my Cricut to cut the numbers using the Cuttin' Up cartridge. The circles were made by using Stampin Ups 1" circle punch.

Thanks for looking and stopping by to see me. Your comments for my birthday make me feel better each time I read them. Thank you for that! My hubby is asking what I want to do for my BIG day. *ugh* ... just get drunk! LOL

Paper = DP (K&Company) CS ( SU Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Real Red)
Ink = SU Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand
Extras = Ribbon, Stamps, Clip from my stash
