Prom Scrapbook

Hi guys! TGIF!!! I just love Fridays. It's my day off from work and the start to the weekend. Ahhhh some down time is much needed. Although I am running the school carnival for our classroom tomorrow. My house is in shambles, I need to go grocery shopping, take the dog to the groomer for his 1:00 appointment. Does it ever slow down? Wouldn't a day of nothing else but crafting be a dream come true? That's all I truly want to do. I was in the middle of making out my grocery list when I decided to make this post instead. Ha!

Ok... I don't usually scrapbook. But this was a favor for my sister. This scrapbook will be used in a silent auction for a local school. It turned out really cute and it was fun to do something different. I'll show you a few of the inside pages.

There are too many supplies to list. If you would like to know anything about this project just send me an email. The link is in my sidebar. -----> Thanks for looking! I hope you and your families all have a terrific weekend. Don't forget to check back this Sunday for my next video tutorial.

Cheers!

The Sweetest Birthday Ever!

Hi guys! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. These cute little birthday cards are so fun. You could place anything you wanted into that little circle. Oh the possibilities! The best thing is there is a slider that dispenses the candy. So the card doesn't have to be ruined. That idea came from the fabulous Becky Roberts.

I am always in need of kids birthday cards. And these will make the perfect presentation I am going for. I think I am going to make a ton of these to keep on hand. The slider was super simple to make if you follow Becky's directions.

I have gotten some great feedback from some of you on the video tutorials. I am so happy to hear you guys like them so much. I will keep up with the Sunday postings! Also stay tuned for the launch of my new message board for card making on March 1st!! You wont want to miss it. *hint* *hint*

Hey guys, I love it when I have something fun to share with you. I have found a new... well new to me anyway... challenge blog. It's called the Pals Paper Arts. They have fun challenges every week. Valentine Gift Set

Hi guys! We are under a winter weather warning and a blizzard watch. And boy are we getting the snow! I so do not want to go out to work today. They are forecasting about 2 feet of snow fall over the next 2 days. The kids went to school which I was shocked they didn't have a delay. But that's the NW for ya! This snow stuff is old hat. LOL

This little Valentine project was made for my son. I am loving the new heart treat cups and matching stamp set. Too cute! I'm going to be stocking up on those little gems. We made this project at my recent stamp club. I am not sure what die it is for the box but I do know it was used with the Big Shot.

Try to stay warm and thanks for stopping by!

Supplies: All supplies are Stampin Up!

Easter Milk Carton Gift Set

Hey everybody! While waiting for my video tutorial to up load I have completed a few projects to share with you. Aren't these milk cartons the cutest? I can only take credit for putting it all together. LOL It's actually a kit I purchased from Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho. I plan on making several of these for family and neighbors for Easter this year. Think of all the fun stuff you could put in these little guys. They are so easy and fun to make. I want to make more! It makes me wish I had a Big Shot and the milk carton die. :( But I must say I am very happy with my lil cuttlebug.

Today is the Big Game! Who are you cheering for? I really hope the Saints take it this year. But then again I love rooting for the under dog. Good munchies are on the menu today! I am making bbq meatballs, potato skins, mozzarella cheese sticks, spicy popcorn chicken, tons of chips, popcorn... probably more but that's what I have so far. The best part for me is the food!! Yummy!! Enjoy the game and family time today.

Ribbon = SU (Certainly Celery, Regal Rose)

Mojo 124 Sketch

I love when I have time to fit in the Mojo Monday sketch. This weeks sketch was a super fun one to participate in. Julee Tilman always creates the most interesting sketches. I don't know how she does it every week. These new stamps and paper from SU have been burning a hole in my stamp drawer for a few days now. I love these itty bitty houses, trees, and clouds from the Sale~A~Bration catalog. Super cute! This set is perfect for someone moving or a neighbor.

If you have time this weekend try the sketch yourself. The first sketch of every month is their Mojo Madness contest with prizes for the top picks. There is a super prize of Verve stamps. So what can ya lose?
TGIF!! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for coming by.

Kids Valentine Craft

Looking for a cute and simple Valentine craft for kids? Well look no further. I've got the perfect project for you! How about a cute card? I am in charge of supplying the craft for my son's Valentine party. Instead of buying something cheesy and expensive I wanted to use supplies I already had. Since there are 30 kids in the class I chose a very simple design.

I used punches to save on time and very little DP to save on supplies. I had blank pre scored cards and envelopes ready to go. Those I got at Michael's on sale. Cute a few inches of ribbon and you're all set!

Once the supplies were cut and ready to go I simply made 30 card kits and put them in Ziploc bags. They will use the glue sticks they already have in their desks for adhesive. Pretty easy hugh? So easy anyone can do it with a little time. Hope this offers some inspiration for those of you looking for an easy kids Valentine craft.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Paper = PP(K&Co) CS (SU Real Red, Pink Passion, Whisper White)
Stamp = SU (I Love You Much)
Extras = SU (Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge punch, Real Red Ink, Dimentionals) Michael's(Cards&Envelopes, Ribbon)
