Hi Guys!!

TGIF!! I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday afternoon. The weekend is here!! Whooo hoooo I have been just dieing to dive into some new Tim Holtz product that I recently bought. Just wasn't feelin' it until today. Boy, I pulled out all the stops on this card. Let me tell you how I got the effects that I wanted.
The white background was stamped in the harlequin pattern with silver metallic acrylic paint by Ranger. I made sure some of the paint was streaked on the stamp. Then I went over the paint with Perfect Pearls from Ranger in bronze. Misted the Perfect Pearls so it stuck to the paint to give it more of an antique look. I then stamped the Paris Tim Holtz stamp in black over all of that.
Next for the wings I used Grungeboard and painted it again in the Ranger metallic paints. This time I used 4 colors to give me the metal look I wanted. Copper, Gold, Black, and Espresso. Again I made sure the paint had the streak marks. I also used Grungeboard for the brackets and painted them in the silver metallic Ranger paint. The rest was just adhering it all together.
This card was made for the Fabulous Friday Challenge over at
Frosted Designs. The challenge is to use metal on your project. Thanks for the inspiration Frosted Designs!! It's just what I needed to break out my new supplies and get going.
Thanks so much for visiting!!
I hope I was able to inspire you to pull out your metals.
