Stamptacular Sunday Challenge ~ Pile it on!

I hope you all are enjoying a wonderful holiday with family and friends. I hope the bunny was good to you.

Today marks another SSC challenge. And you're not going to want to miss this one. The challenge this week is to Pile it On! Create a card that has at least FIVE layers!

Phew... not so easy peasy this time.
Here is the layered card I came up with.

The supplies for this card are all Melissa Frances from her 5th Avenue collection. I received all of it as a gift from my stampin sister Marianne!! Thank you so much Marianne!!

I have had this pom pom ribbon for awhile waiting to find the perfect use for it. I buy ribbon like most women buy shoes. I know I'll use it with something some day!! heehee I hope you'll join in the challenge this week. We have some lovely prizes from Magnolia-licious and Teddy Bo.

Fabulous Friday Challenge ~ Butterflies & Birds

Hello bloggers!! TGIF!!
It's time for another Fabulous Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs. The theme for the challenge this week is Butterflies and Birds.

I decided to create a mailbox and matching tin with a little scrapbook in it as a gift for my Niece's birthday. I added a butterfly to the mailbox on the heart which ended up being the perfect embellie for it. And the tin has the Butterfly Kisses embellie.

I filled the mailbox with all kinds of goodies any 5 year old would love! And made the pull out scrapbook of my son and Niece together the last time we saw them. It turned out so cute!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge ~ Magnolia-licious!

The challenge this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge is MAGNOLIA-licious!  In honor of our April sponsor, create a card or project with one of the ever so precious Magnolia stamps.

Oh you guys I had such a hard time with this challenge. *raises hand* I must admit I stink at coloring!! I mean down right stink at it. And that lays the foundation of the whole card if you ask me. However!! They don't call these challenges for nothing.

So... I put on my big girl panties, sat down, and got to work. I actually found it fun getting out of my comfort zone and creating something out of the norm for me. And I hope you decide to take a stab at it too. Because SSC has some wonderful prizes this week. The DT have created such beautiful masterpieces for this challenge. I am in total awe of them all. Paper Therapy Challenge ~ Basket

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge ~ Girls & Swirls

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Today marks another challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge this week is "girls & swirls". You must include a girl or girls and some swirls on your project. Don't forget to stamp too!

Here is the card I came up with. If you look at the top picture you can see my patterned paper is swirls. Plus I added the swirls in again with the blue under the ribbon. So fun!!

Fabulous Friday Challenge ~ Brads

TGIF!! Friday marks our Fabulous Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs challenge blog. The challenge is to use brads somewhere on your project. Pretty easy yea?

Here is the card I came up with. I wanted the brads to be the focal point. These cute and colorful brads were given to me as a gift from my bestie! I have been dieing to use them and this project was perfect. It was fun to change the papers and sew the edges for a little added detail.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge ~ Buttons, Bling, & Bloom

Hello Girls!!

Today marks the first challenge for me with the Stamptacular Sunday DT.
Actually my project should have been posted yesterday. But I was on spring break vacation and forgot to schedule my post. That's when you know your plate is too full!!

The challenge this week over at SSC is "Buttons, Bling, & Bloom". You must include buttons, some bling, and flowers on your project. Don't forget to stamp too! Here is the fun card I came up with.

I loved working with these colors and this paper. The paper was given to me as a prize by Frost It Pink. I love their online store and shop there often.
