Graphic 45: A Ladies Diary

Hello my fellow bloggers!! School is in full swing and kicking my butt... thankfully I am keeping up (barely). Last night I kind of blew a gasket. I am finding it challenging to keep up with the family, house, yard, pets, volunteer work, grocery shop, cook, laundry, and carrying 14 credit hours. Something's gotta give. My poor hubby must of got the message because he came home early and prepared everything for breakfast this morning after shopping for the supplies. Awwww what a sweetie, it made my whole day. I am in awe of the Mom's that work full time and carry much of the load. I don't think my house is ever going to be clean again... ha! Well at least for the next 3 years!!

Between all of my activities I was able to create some stunning projects for you. It was some much needed down time for me. Come take a look!

My 1st project started out as just a plain old cardboard box. This particular one is from Stampin Up! I like the size of their box. It's perfect for altering. So here is what I created, using the lovely Graphic 45 Collection; A Ladies Diary.

I love altering small items, actually it's my favorite kind of crafting.

Supplies:Graphic 45: A Ladies Diary Collection Papers, Chipboard Tags, Stickers, Metal Brad, Metal Keyhole, Metal Key, Ribbon
Stampin Up!: Box, Stamps
Tim Holtz: Foundations, Hat Pin, Metal Gears, Safety Pin, Stamp
Papertrey Ink: Twine

Next up is a lovely project I created for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All month long Craft-e-Corner is celebrating crafting with a cause. They will have special sales and Craft-e-Corner will be donating a portion of their October proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. How cool is that? So be sure to pop on over and get your special deal today!

This card also uses Graphic 45's A Ladies Diary Collection. My project requirement was that it be pink of course. So I turned to the soft palette of this collection. A little black on a project goes a long way. Don't be afraid to use black with lighter colors. It can make for a striking contrast.

Thanks for joining me today guys. I hope you were inspired and got some great deals!! heehee nothing's better than that. Wishes for a great day!!
