Masculine Birthday Card

Hello my lovely followers, and visitors!! Thanks for stopping by today. I have a wonderful masculine card to share with you. It seems my projects have all been guy related lately. I am craving some frilly things, lace, and pastel colors!! But before I get back into the all things girl, I wanted to share one last masculine project.

This card was made for my son's friend who's celebrating his birthday today. Gone are the days of candy filled cards, dino's, and trucks. heehee They are teenagers now! Wow!!

Hope you like the card. It's a real simple pattern to follow and should take just a few minutes to complete. Hope you are enjoying your summer!

Wishes for a great day!

One More Father's Day Card

Hi guys! As promised I am back with one more Father's Day card. I think this is my favorite out of the three and it is the one my son is giving his dad. :) Lots of fun detail in this card.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Father's Day weekend. I have the greatest gift for my hubby and I can not wait for him to open it. But I can't share here for fear he may be reading this. So, I'll update you all after the weekend.

Wishes for a great day!

Father's Day is almost here!

That's right... Father's Day is almost here. Are you ready with your handmade crafts? If not don't stress. I will show you how to make a very simple card that will look masculine and be just the right touch for any gift.

This card my look hard to make, but believe it or not it's pretty simple. Try to use a product line that also has matching embellishments or pieces from the paper that you can cut out. Think about how you can tie it all together, such as how my "The Measure of a Man" tag goes along with the tape measure on the card. Use my simple layout and whola' a homemade card in no time. Finding masculine papers is not always easy. This line from Bo Bonny called Cambridge is an excellent source for creating crafts for the men in your life.

Now... what sentiment to put inside is always a hard task for me so I have gathered up some of my favorites for you. Feel free to use one or all of them for yourself. I have one more Father's Day card to share with you  this week. So stay tuned...

My job was to test the boundaries
Your job was to make sure I survived the test!
Thanks for being the guiding hand I needed.

Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder
will remain with me forever.

The greatest gift I ever had came from God
and I call him dad!

Wishes for a great day!

Father's Day Card

Hey guys! Summer is upon us and it was an absolutely beautiful day in the Midwest today. I have a Father's Day card to share with you. I have 3 more to make and will be sharing those as well. The papers used in this card are all Bo Bunny and very old. But I love um!! I am going to try to update my blog more often. The only thing is if I don't have time to craft... then there is nothing to share LOL. School is starting up next week. I am taking a summer course, but just one class. So I am hoping that will allow me to get back in my studio. I changed my blog photo ---> it was taken a few months ago and more current. I have been wanting to do that for awhile now.  :)

I hope June finds you doing well with wonderful scrappy plans for the summer! Thanks for coming by to see me. Wishes for a great day!

Spring Birthday Card graphic 45 Secret Garden

Hi Everyone, it's so good to be back posting and sharing some of my creations. This card was made for some Graphic 45 DT work. Graphic 45's Secret Garden is so scrumptious! The colors and all things spring are just so beautiful and the detail of this collection is amazing.

Things with school are going fantastic... but I am working my butt off. I received in the mail on Friday an invitation to apply for the Chancellor's Scholarship!! You have to have a 3.75 GPA to even get the invitation to apply. It's just so nice to be recognized for all the hard work. Whether I get the darn thing or not it made my whole day!

Hopefully you are having spring like weather. For us we are still wearing winter coats and sweaters. It has been so chilly! My daffodils are blooming though. heehee I can not wait for spring.

Thank you for coming by today and visiting. I hope all is well with you and yours! Wishes for a great day!

Graphic 45 Tag and Staples

Oh my goodness guys has it been a long time since my last post. Holy moly!! I sure hope you all had a wonderful holiday and New Year! Crazy busy is my life these days but I wouldn't have it any other way. I do admit though I sooooo miss my hours of crafty time and updating you all on my creations. Any time I do make something though I will be sure to share it with you here on my blog.

Today I have this gorgeous tag to share with you. The challenge was to create a tag using the new Graphic 45 tags and Graphic 45 staples. Plus use only the colors cream, ivory, and black. There are lots of Graphic 45 staples tucked in this tag everywhere you look. In fact 99% of what I used in materials is Graphic 45 staples. They are so fun to work with! These new tags from G45 are awesome! They come in a small and large size. I used the small tag and as you can see even the small tag gives ample room for design.

If anyone is still reading my blog... thank you for hanging in there with me. I so appreciate you stopping by to see whats new. Have a great day and Happy New Year!

Supplies:
Graphic 45: An ABC Primer Collection Papers, Small Tag, Cardstock Buttons, Metal Brad, Alphabet Typewriter Stamps, Metal Keys, Ribbon, Metal Butterfly, Metal Keyhole, Metal Tag, Metal Door Pulls
